Roads and Rivers Day

Join your friends and neighbors as Keep Sevier Beautiful mobilizes volunteers county wide to pick up litter along our roadsides and waterways! Part of the Great American Cleanup, residents meet at designated sites to receive all the necessary equipment to successfully pick up litter including safety vests, gloves, garbage bags and litter grabbers.

This county wide program not only beautifies our community, but brings awareness to litter. With over 300 volunteers at the event, we have collected over 7,000 pounds of garbage and retrieved televisions, tires and shopping carts out of our rivers!

Roads & Rivers Day is held twice a year – the third Saturday in March and a Saturday in September. The September date varies due to the numerous fall events within our community.

Want to join our efforts? Come as a family or as a group. We welcome all ages. However, children 12 and under must remain with an adult for their safety. Be sure to come at 9, to not miss any of the safety information. Can’t commit the full three hours of the event? We welcome all volunteers – for as little or as long as you are able to clean! Please be prepared with sturdy shoes and weather appropriate attire.

Can’t wait until our designated days?  We will gladly help you, your neighborhood or group organize a pick up!
