Keep Sevier Beautiful is a multi-award winning non-profit that brings people together to protect the beauty of our County in turn stimulating economic growth, building vibrant communities and protecting the gateway to the Smoky Mountains.
Our Goal
It is our goal to enhance and protect the beauty of Sevier County and improve our residents quality of life through community based projects. Keep Sevier Beautiful supports the community through initiatives such as County wide litter pick ups, recycling collection events, tree plantings, community gardens, household hazardous waste collection, anti-litter and recycling education, playground enhancement and beautification projects.
Our Concept
We have a simple concept: teach people how to care for their environment and they will. Through evoking generational thinking, we attempt to instill good habits that will continue throughout a lifetime. We believe in changing behaviors to heal and protect our environment for future generations to come. As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful & Keep TN Beautiful, we focus on three areas: litter prevention, waste reduction/recycling and greening through education and engaging our community.
What's with the logo?
KSB’s logo was designed using the Trillium flower, native to the Smoky Mountains. Each flower represents an area that KSB serves: Sevier County, Pittman Center, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. The three prongs of the trillium represent the partnership of businesses, citizens, and government in a joint effort of responsibility toward beautification and community greening, environmental impact and natural resource conservation.
